Mayor Michael A. Lavorata will once again be on the ballot during the Village election next month.

LINDENHURST, NY - Lindenhurst Mayor Michael A. Lavorata announced last week that he will be seeking re-election in the upcoming March 2018 Village election.
In a press release, Lavorata said that he is "very proud of the accomplishments of the Lavorata Administration including purchasing new highway equipment and a garbage truck, refurbishment of municipal parking lots, road raising project and a new recycling program."
In addition, he states that during his time as mayor, his administration was able to expand and improve the Village’s services and still have the Village Board approve a 2018/19 budget under the 2 percent tax cap.
