Lindenhurst Middle School Presents Aladdin
Talented young cast and crew entertained audiences during recent shows.
A talented cast of Lindenhurst Middle School thespians drew a packed house for recent weekend performances of the musical “Aladdin.”
Karen Kanavas and Marie Simmons, who have successfully directed the middle school shows for 21 years, directed this performance. The talented young cast and crew entertained audiences with their renditions of “Friend Like Me,” “One Jump” and “A Whole New World.”
The gifted casts included Friday and Saturday performances by students Liam Lynch and Andrew Prendergast as Aladdin. Kyara Dunleavy and Kassidy Rieder play the part of Princess Jasmine, while David Bloom, Russel Ward, Justin Gonzalez and Adrian Fernandez played the parts of the wish-granting Genie and sinister Jafar. The brilliant efforts of the entire cast and crew resulted in truly entertaining performances.

The success of the musicals over the years has had much to do with the volunteer cast of staff and community members who, year after year, provide their services to ensure the shows go off without a hitch. The district congratulates all involved for yet another year and another musical success.
