Lindenhurst Middle School Student Selected For SCMEA Jazz Concert

LINDENHURST, NY — A student at Lindenhurst Middle School has been selected to perform in the New York State Council of Administrators of Music Education/ Suffolk County Music Educators' Association Middle School All-County Jazz Concert on Nov. 6 at East Islip High School.

The Lindenhurst Union Free School District announced Wednesday that eighth-grader Hadrian Cacace was one of only five trumpet players from Suffolk County in grades 7 to 9 be chosen.

“We are so proud of Hadrian,” said teacher Albert White. “He is an incredibly advanced talent, who works very hard at his craft. It shows.”
