During a special ceremony held at the Lindenhurst Middle School on May 8, 29 hardworking students, from grades seven and eight, were welcomed as the newest members of the National Junior Honor Society.
In order to be considered for induction, students must maintain a 90 average, show leadership, and participate in extracurricular activities.
Holding lit candles symbolizing scholarship, leadership, character, service and citizenship, the students represent the best and brightest of the middle school.
