Lindenhurst Middle Students Honored at Breakfast for Champions

Student recognized for exemplifying Lindy Pride at the middle school.

Lindenhurst Middle School students were honored at the Breakfast for Champions celebration coordinated by middle school educator Courtney Whalley on Nov. 18.

Held at the Lindencrest Diner, the breakfast, now in its 17th year, honors students who exemplify Lindy Pride at the middle school. Students are nominated by teachers for a variety of reasons and are recognized publically with certificates of Merit in front of proud parents, teachers and peers.

“You are all here because of the things you have done and the choices you have made,” said Principal Frank Naccarato. “That’s a big part of ‘Lindy Pride.’ It’s not only having pride in your community and school but also in your accomplishments. I speak for all of the middle school staff when I say, we are proud of you.”
