Lindenhurst School Budget Approved, 3 Trustees Elected

The budget includes a 1.85 percent increase in the tax levy.

LINDENHURST, NY — Residents in the Lindenhurst School District have approved a 2022-23 school budget by a margin of 1,566 to 793.

In addition, the proposition to vote on expenditures from the capital reserve fund to finance projects for improvements to Lindenhurst High School has passed by a margin of 1,636 to 686.

The $177,638,786 budget has a tax levy of 1.85 percent, within the state's tax cap.
