Lindenhurst Students Serving Cheer To Seniors
The students entertained senior citizens from local Lindenhurst senior programs during the high school's annual holiday luncheon.

LINDENHURST, NY - Members of the student council and National Honor Society at Lindenhurst High School entertained senior citizens from local Lindenhurst senior programs during the high school’s annual holiday luncheon.
The day began with musical performances by the Lindenhurst High School’s concert choir and symphonic band, whose presentations included holiday songs such as “Halleluja Chorus,”and “Sleigh Ride” in addition to familiar classics such as “Chattanooga Choo Choo.”
Students greeted the invited attendees as they entered the library, which was decorated in a festive holiday motif.

They shared conversation and served their guests lunch, which was prepared by the students in the food and nutrition, and baking and pastry classes in addition to the advanced culinary arts and hospitality class.
