Lindenhurst Youth Center To Host Goat Yoga Classes
This one-time event is coming to Lindenhurst.
LINDENHURST, NY — The Village of Lindenhurst is going to the goats.
The Lindenhurst Youth Center, Lindy Cares, will host an evening of "Outdoor Goat Yoga" on Friday, April 14.
Yoga instructor Doreen Buckman will lead two 45-minute yoga sessions with "friendly, interactive" goats, provided by Steppin' Out Ponies, a social media post said.

The event will take place outdoors in the yard behind the Lindenhurst Youth Center on Smith Street in Lindenhurst.
The first session will take place from 3 to 4 p.m. and is free for kids. The second session will take place from 4:30 to 5 p.m. and is $25 to participate. All proceeds will go towards the youth center.

All levels are welcome, a social media post said.
Participants are encouraged to bring a mat, towel, a water bottle, and "an open mind." Yoga mats will not be provided, and registration is required.
