Lindy Champions Celebrated
The Breakfast for Champions recognizes students of Lindenhurst Middle School who embody special characteristics that make them stand out.

Now in its 19th year, the Breakfast for Champions recognizes students of Lindenhurst Middle School who embody special characteristics that make them stand out to the teachers who nominate them. The event which is coordinated monthly by middle school educator Kathleen Curran, was held on March 21.
Held at the Lindencrest Diner, the breakfast honors students for a variety of reasons including their willingness to try, their ability to brighten someone’s day, or because they always go above and beyond. Students are recognized publically with certificates of merit as proud parents, teachers and peers cheer them on.
“These students standing before us are the reason I talk about Lindy Pride,” said Principal Frank Naccarato.
