Lindy High Seniors Honored

Lindenhurst High School honored approximately 200 students with various scholarships, honors and citations at the Senior Awards. The testimonials recognized excellence and achievements by Lindenhurst High School seniors.

Awards were given for accomplishments in subject areas such as math, science, foreign language and music. In addition, students with exceptional service to the community, athletic and artistic prowess, as well as overall educational excellence, were recognized.

Principal Daniel E. Giordano addressed the group at his last senior award celebration as principal, as he takes on the role of superintendent in July. 

“When we see all of our students’ accomplishments and take into account the time and hard work it took these students to arrive at this point, you know this is the result of four years of dedication, self-discipline, study and practice, which has been shared by our students and our faculty," he said. "Please know that their accomplishments were realized because they had the support of you, their families and friends.”
