Last Friday, 107 students, representing the Adelphi Physical Education and Advanced Swimming classes at Lindenhurst High School, took part in the eighth annual Bulldog Triathlon.
The race consisted of a 200-yard swim, followed by a five-mile bike ride and a two-mile run.
CJ Dreher and Ashley Claud were the first male and female competitors to cross the finish line. CJ, the first overall, finished the race in an impressive 36.13 minutes and was followed by Tim Steinman and Robert Kirgan, who placed second and third respectively. Ashley paved the way for the female competitors, completing the race in 46.56 minutes.
