Coronavirus Kindness: Law Office Buys Meals For First Responders
One local law office decided to help their local first responders working during the coronavirus outbreak.
LINDENHURST, NY — Long Island residents are continuing to show their strength and support for first responders during the coronavirus outbreak. Recently, the family who owns the Ahmedi Law Office based in Melville, who are residents of Lindenhurst, wanted to find a way to give back and thank the first responders for all of their hard work during this challenging time.
To show their gratitude, they decided to send pizza to some of the frontline workers in Lindenhurt, working to battle the pandemic. They sent pizza to the employees at CityMD Urgent Care on Wellwood Avenue and the Pediatric Immediate Care on 150 Sunrise Highway as well as to the officers at the Suffolk County Police Department's 1st precinct and the firefighters at the Lindenhurst firehouse on Delaware and Hoffman Street.
"With an NYPD police officer in our family, we certainly understand the difficulties and the stress that you are dealing with during this COVID-19 pandemic," Donny Ahmedi said. "We want to thank you and let you know we appreciate you."
