"Billy has worked in the restaurant industry for the better half of 15 years, but has wanted to put his love for helping people, and our love of Lindenhurst, to good use," a post on the restaurant's Facebook page reads. "Therefore, we have decided to take our net profits and donate them to local charities and families in need."
The restaurant will offer American style food and innovated cocktails all made with fresh ingredients.

The inspiration from the restaurant came from Lindenhurst and the surrounding area. The couple chose to name it 'Restoration' for three reasons:
"We believe in this village and are excited to be part of its revitalization. Secondly, we hope the concept of the restaurant will help to restore some of the faith in humanity, as we are all living in a very difficult time where our nation seems to be at odds. We hope to bring the community together as family, rather than foe. Lastly, most of the furniture inside the restaurant was rescued from Lindenhurst and neighboring towns, and restored to keep the antiquity of the village alive," the post reads.
