Long-Awaited First Days For Lindenhurst Students
"This first week back was a great first step toward normalcy," said Superintendent of Schools Daniel Giordano.

Press release from the Lindenhurst School District:
September 14 2020
The classrooms have been prepared, the buses are on the road and the sound of laughter has returned to the hallways and playgrounds of the Lindenhurst Union Free School District. Sept. 9 began another school year for the district albeit one with a slightly different feel to it.
After six months, students have returned to their buildings and logged into virtual classrooms to reunite with friends, met new teachers and familiarized themselves with the new safety protocols. As students have been arranged in cohorts, so as to reduce the number of daily attendance, different groups have experienced their first in-person days of school on different days throughout the week.
