Man Fights Back Against Would-Be Robber in Lindenhurst

A would-be robber picked the wrong man to mess with in Lindenhurst on Monday afternoon.

Police say a man was walking on North Broome Avenue at about 2:40 p.m. Monday when a man “exited a vehicle and forcibly stole money from the victim. ”

The victim then struck the assailant and grabbed the money back, police say. The suspect fled back to his vehicle and took off. No arrests have been made.
