Man Found Shot Outside North Amityville Apartment Complex: SCPD

NORTH AMITYVILLE, NY - A man was fatally shot outside a North Amityville apartment complex on Sunday night, according to Suffolk Police.

Officers responded to Andpress Plaza, an apartment complex on 2 Andpress Plaza, after a 911 caller reported a man shot at 9:30 p.m.

When officers arrived they found 33-year-old Jesiah Lowe outside in a common area of the apartment complex, police said. He had been shot once.

Lowe was transported via North Amityville Rescue ambulance to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip where he was pronounced dead.
