Man Robs Copiague Bank: PD
The man entered the bank Wednesday afternoon and handed a teller a note demanding cash, police say.

COPIAGUE, NY — A Copiague bank was robbed Wednesday afternoon, Suffolk County Police said.
A man entered Chase Bank, located at 895 Merrick Road, at 3:30 p.m.and handed a teller a note demanding cash, police said. The teller complied with the man's demands and gave him cash from the drawer, police said. The robber then ran away from the bank, police said.
Police described the man as either white or light-skinned Hispanic and between 5-feet, 3 inches to 5-feet, 4 inches tall. He has a medium, muscular build, police said, and is between 30 and 40 years old. He was wearing a gray knit hat, with a gray jacket and blue jeans, tan work gloves, and black-rimmed glasses, police said.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on the robbery to call the major case unit at 631-852-6555 or to reach out anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
