Man Stabbed In BP Gas Parking Lot: PD

A North Amityville man was stabbed in a gas station parking lot Thursday night, police say.

WYANDANCH, NY — A man is injured after being stabbed in a Wyandanch parking lot Thursday night, Suffolk County Police said.

According to police, Ronald Carson, 48, of Wyandanch, got into an altercation with a North Amityville man at about 8:13 p.m. in a BP Gas parking lot, located at 1501 Straight Path. Carson then allegedly stabbed the man, police said.

The man was then taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries, police said.

Caron was charged with assault in the second degree, criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, police said. Carson was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital for treatment of minor injuries, polices said.

Carson is scheduled for arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip on Friday.
