Man Tries To Rob West Babylon Bank: SCPD

WEST BABYLON, NY - A man tried to robbed a West Babylon bank on Tuesday morning, according to Suffolk Police.

A man entered Chase on 595 Sunrise Highway at 8:50 a.m. and handed a teller a note demanding cash. The teller did not comply with the man’s demands and the man fled the bank.

He was last seen entering a waiting car, described as a newer model, light-colored green Subaru.

The attempted robber was described as black, dark-skinned, in his late teens to early 20s with a thin build and medium height. He was wearing dark-colored winter clothing.
