McCaffrey Presents Community Service Award to West Babylon Student
County legislator presents award to high school senior Samantha Mammarella.

Suffolk County Legis. Kevin McCaffrey, R-Lindenhurst, recently had the opportunity to participate in West Babylon High School’s Senior Awards Ceremony, which was held in the school’s Performing Arts Center.
At the widely-attended event, McCaffrey presented an official proclamation to this year’s recipient of the Suffolk County Legislator’s Community Service Award, Samantha Mammarella.
Samantha was selected for this prestigious award due to her commitment to the community both inside and outside of her school. In addition to balancing her academic responsibilities, Samantha is heavily involved in a variety of student organizations such as Students Against Destructive Decisions, and Skills USA. Moreover, Samantha has devoted countless hours of service to local churches since being in the seventh grade, where she has assisted with fundraising and religious education.
