Men On Motorcycles Rob Gas Station Employee At Gunpoint: Police

The robbers approached the employee while he was driving with proceeds from the gas station by Sunrise Highway, police say.

NORTH LINDENHURST, NY - A gas station employee was robbed at gunpoint by men riding on motorcycles in North Lindenhurst on Sunday, according to Suffolk Police.

After leaving a Gulf gas station on 86 Sunrise Highway, an employee was driving a 2007 Nissan Altima eastbound on Sunrise Highway Service Road with proceeds from the gas station at 1 a.m., when two men on motorcycles pulled alongside his vehicle and displayed handguns.

When the driver pulled over, they demanded the bag containing an undetermined amount of cash.

The man complied, and the robbers fled eastbound on Sunrise Highway Service Road.
