New Apartment Complex to Hold Grand Opening And Community Benefit
Principals behind Lindenhurst's new luxury apartment complex "The Wel" to host a ribbon-cutting ceremony, fundraiser for Long Island Cares.

LINDENHURST, NY — Lindenhurst's newest apartment complex, The Wel, will officially open next week in a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a community fundraising event benefiting food bank Long Island Cares.
The event will begin at 1 p.m. on Thursday, October 7 at 75 E. Hoffman Avenue with an official ribbon-cutting. The charity tasting event will then take place at 4 p.m. and will include live music and food from local restaurants, including 27a Brewing Company, Bakuto, Sand City Brewing Co., Muni’s Coffee Joint, Wa Meadwerks, Sidelines Cafe, Restoration Kitchen And Cocktails, Hermanas Kitchen And Cocktails, and Belfast Gastropub, Riptides Cocktails and Grill and Pita Bowl.
Tickets are $25 each and all proceeds will benefit Long Island Cares.

“The Wel stands to be an important catalyst in the revitalization of Lindenhurst, and we are excited to stand alongside residents, neighbors, and local business owners to see what comes next in Lindenhurst’s future,”said TRITEC Real Estate Company, Inc. President Jim Coughlan.
The Wel, owned by TRITEC, is a 260-unit building located by the Long Island Rail Road station on East Hoffman Avenue. Construction for the site first began in 2019. The building has a mix of studio, one, two, and three-bedroom units ranging in price from $2,100 to $4,700.

Amenities include a pool and rooftop patio deck, a 24-hour fitness center, cozy fire pits, bike storage, and a dog wash station. Tenants first moved into the complex this July, and apartments are already 67 percent leased, officials said.
