A man is charged with second degree assault following a stabbing in Lindenhurst Tuesday morning, police said. Police say they responded to an incident where two people were arguing over property on the corner of S. Delaware Avenue and Hoffman Avenue at about 11:30 a.m. One man took out a Swiss Army Knife and a struggle over the knife ensued. One man was stabbed in the back, suffering minor puncture wounds. The stabber suffered minor injuries to his hand and was also taken to the hospital. Police did not identify either man.
