Police ID Second Person Killed In Lindenhurst Crash
A 24-year-old woman was killed in Monday's crash, which also claimed the life of a 16-year-old boy, police say.

LINDENHURST, NY – A 24-year-old woman has been identified as the second person killed in Monday morning's crash in Lindenhurst.
Maggie Miller, of Copiague, was a backseat passenger in a 1998 Ford Mustang driven by 17-year-old David O’Brien when the car crashed into a fire hydrant and then a tree on North Wellwood Avenue at about 5:20 a.m.
Miller was pronounced dead at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip. The front seat passenger, 16-year-old Joseph Galdorisi, of Lindenhurst, was pronounced dead at the scene.

O’Brien, of Lindenhurst, and a second backseat passenger — 16-year-old Daniel Ozarowski, also of Lindenhurst — were taken to Good Samaritan to be treated for serious injuries. Their injuries are now considered non-life threatening, Newsday reported.
Police have not said what caused the crash. Anyone with information on the crash should call the Major Case Unit at 631-852-6553.
