Police Release Photos Of Amityville Beverage Store Robber

AMITYVILLE, NY - Suffolk Police are seeking a man who robbed an Amityville store at gunpoint in December.

The man (pictured above) robbed Broadway Beverage on 560 Broadway at gunpoint at 5:21 p.m. on December 13, police said.

He took cash from the register and fled westbound on Maple Drive, first on foot, then in the passenger side of a dark SUV.

The robber is described as in his late teens or early 20s, with a thin build and 5-foot-8 inches tall.

He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants with white stripes, black and white Nike Air Force 1 shoes, a black mask, and black gloves.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
