Queens Man Found Dead In Suffolk County: NYPD

The 85-year-old was reported missing from his home in Jamaica, Queens last Thursday, police said.

LINDENHURST, NY - The body of a missing Queens man was discovered in Suffolk County on Saturday morning, NYPD officials confirmed.

A silver alert was issued for 85-year-old Hendricks Walls on Thursday, Nov. 29 after he was last seen leaving his Jamaica home.

He was discovered in Suffolk County on Dec. 1 at about 10:30 a.m. where he was declared dead, police said. NYPD officials could not confirm the exact location.

According to a report in Newsday, Suffolk Police responded to a call of a possible body in the water at the Venetian Shores Park boat ramp at about 8:35 a.m.

An exact cause of death was not released.
