TAL Awards Honor Students

The 38th annual Teachers Association of Lindenhurst awards ceremony was held on May 19 at Lindenhurst High School.

This year’s theme was “Common Goal for Our Core: Nourish the Mind.”

Teachers selected one student from each grade level in every school for recognition. “We are honoring students who, in one way or another, have made a difference in the lives of their school community,” said high school teacher John Savastano, who also served as co-chair of the event with Jennifer Kelly.
