A Tasty Lesson at Daniel Street Elementary

Students in Erica Bohrer’s first grade class at the Daniel Street Elementary School recently enjoyed a tasty lesson involving apples.

The students have been discussing various apple facts, as well as varieties, history and folklore including the tale of Johnny Appleseed.

Using their senses, the students had the opportunity to compare a variety of apples including red delicious, yellow delicious and granny smith and expand upon their graphing skills as they mapped out their results.
