Person Struck, Killed By Train On Long Island: Report
A "trespasser" was hit and killed by a Long Island Railroad train on Friday, according to reports.

COPIAGUE, NY — A person was hit and killed by a train near Copiague on Friday afternoon, according to the MTA and other reports.
In a post on X, fka Twitter, MTA officials announced the incident, writing: "There are scattered delays on the Babylon Branch due to trespasser being struck by a train near Copiague."
According to a report by LongIsland.com, officials said that an unidentified individual was trespassing on the tracks near Great Neck Road and Railroad Avenue when they were hit by a train and pronounced dead at the scene by first responders.
