Trio Arrested During Amityville Drug Bust: Police
The three were arrested during an investigation into the fatal overdose of a Nassau County resident, police say.

AMITYVILLE, NY - Three Amityville residents were arrested during a drug bust on Tuesday afternoon following an investigation into a fatal narcotics overdose of a person in Nassau County, according to Nassau Police.
The investigation led to the arrests of 27-year-old Phylisha Johnson, 22-year-old Anthony Holmes and 56-year-old Denise Aliperti at about 1:50 p.m. at their Dixon Avenue home, police say.
Johnson was charged with four counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and two counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Holmes was charged with six counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, four counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, two counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and disorderly conduct.
Both will be arraigned on Wednesday.

Aliperti was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. She was arraigned Tuesday.
