Video: Jones Beach Junior Lifeguard Tournament
A test of speed, endurance and fortitude for young, aspiring lifeguards, including Brooke Baldassi from Lindenhurst.
This past Monday, hosted a Junior Lifeguard Tournament, inviting youngsters from all over Long Island, including Lindenhurst, West Islip and North Babylon, to compete in tests of speed, endurance and skill in order to prove their worth as future guardians of the waves.
The tournament was for lifeguards ages nine to 17. Awards were handed in the various tournament computations to the top finishers.
