WATCH: Employee Attacks Attempted Robber With Metal Stool

Police are still looking for the man who attempted to rob a gas station earlier this month. Watch the surveillance video below.

LINDENHURST, NY - Suffolk Police are seeking the man who attempted to rob a Lindenhurst gas station earlier this month.

The man entered Ultra gas station on 571 West Montauk Highway, displayed a knife and demanded money from the employee on September 4 at 3 p.m.

When the employee refused, the man attempted to take money from the register.

The employee then swung a metal stool at the man, who fled on foot with no proceeds.

The attempted robber (pictured above) was described as having a tattoo on the inside of his right forearm.
