LINDENHURST, NY — A Lindenhurst fifth-grader got a special Valentine's Day present this year. During an assembly at William Rall Elementary School, one student got some extra love when she saw her father, who surprised her with his return from deployment.
Staff Sargent Daniel London, who returned from his third deployment in Afghanistan, entered the gym to greet his daughter, Alexus London, who immediately ran up to give him a big hug.
London then gifted her some flowers and a stuffed animal for Valentine's Day.
