Feb. 19, 2021
Lindenhurst’s William Rall Elementary School students in grades one through three and fourth and fifth, respectively, recently took part in the school level of the annual Scripps National Spelling Bee. The students qualified to participate in the school-level bee after winning their class bees.
This year’s events, which included students in-school and learning remotely, were recorded such that their families would have the opportunity to watch as well. Students from both grade level groupings took on many complicated words with confidence.
