LONG BEACH, NY — The Long Beach police Department released its weekly crime log Wednesday, detailing nine arrests between Apr. 2 and Apr. 10.
The items listed are as follows:
On Apr. 2, 63-year-old Long Beach resident Alfonso Scott was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal trespassing, police said.
On Apr. 3, 58-year-old Queens Village resident Clarence Darden was arrested and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, police said.
There were two arrests on Apr. 4, starting with 20-year-old Brianna Lopez, a Long Beach resident arrested for third-degree assault with intent to cause injury, police said.
After Lopez, the arrest of 50-year-old Long Beach resident Christopher Huggins also took place on Apr. 4, police said, with huggins facing a criminal possession of a controlled substance charge as well as a probation violation and an open bench warrant.
The lone arrest reported on Apr. 6 was of Heather Magone, a 40-year-old woman from Long Beach who was arrested and charged with kidnapping and acting in a manner to injure a child, police said.
Also on Apr. 6, 64-year-old James Thomas was arrested and charged with second-degree harassment, police said.
Finally, there were two arrests on Apr. 10, police said. The first was of 26-year–old Freeport man Juan Romero Familia, who was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and driving without a license plate or with only one license plate, police said.
The second arrest police reported was of Kiashaw Felder, a 19-year-old from Long Beach who was charged with third-degree identity theft and criminal possession of a stolen credit card, police said.
