Farmers' Market Returning to Kennedy Plaza

The Kennedy Plaza Farmers' Market will be reopening for the season on May 4 for Long Beach residents and local community members to once again enjoy.

Fresh fruit, vegetables, fish, organic bread, dairy products and hand crafted soaps will be available, as well as some new products including grass fed beef, free range poultry and fresh coffee beans, according to the City of Long Beach. Additionally, returning vendors will be selling popular goods such as sauces, ravioli, pickles, cheese and more.

The market will be open through November on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

“The Kennedy Plaza Farmers Market has been an overwhelming success with residents and visitors,” said City Council President Thomas R. Sofield, Jr. in a recent press release from the City of Long Beach.  “This year the market will have a wider selection of fresh foods and other healthful products that are sure to appeal to old and new customers.”  

EBT, Debit, MasterCard, Visa, Farmers Market Nutrition Program Senior checks and WIC checks are accepted at the farmers' market.
