Arrest Made In Deadly Long Beach Shooting: Police

LONG BEACH, NY — Nassau Police have announced an arrest in connection with a deadly shooting in Long Beach earlier this month.

Ronnie Sutton, 29, of Long Beach, is charged with second-degree murder and two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He was due to be arraigned on Thursday, authorities said.

Just after 10:30 p.m. on April 7, Long Beach Police responded to a shooting in the vicinity of Sycamore Court. A 33-year-old man was found in a parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim was later identified as Shawn Usher, 33, of Long Beach.
