Assistant Wrestling Coach Accused Of Inappropriately Touching Student Arrested: Police
Nassau County police say the man worked as an assistant wrestling coach at Lido Elementary School.
LIDO BEACH, NY. — A 54-year-old Long Beach man was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child after he inappropriately touched a girl during a December wrestling practice, police said Friday.
John Anfossi, 54, had worked as an assistant wrestling coach at Lido Elementary and touched a student in a sexually inappropriate manner during the practice, which took place on Dec. 23, Nassau County police said.
Anfossi was arraigned Tuesday, Jan. 27, police said.
