LONG BEACH, NY — One of the final cash-only bridges in the area will begin offering E-ZPass, Newsday reported.

The Atlantic Beach Bridge is expected to accept E-ZPass starting next month, Newsday said.

Six million vehicles cross the bridge annually.

The Atlantic Beach Bridge is 1,173-foot long drawbridge carrying the Nassau Expressway from Lawrence into Atlantic Beach over Reynolds Channel.

Riders will pay $3 with E-ZPass or $4 by cash.
