Pokemon Go, the popular new game that allows players to search for Pokemon out in real life on their phone, has quickly become a sensation.

With the latest desire to "catch 'em all," users have been searching for the best areas nearby to find Pokemon. On social media, local Pokemon enthusiasts have been sharing the top spots on Long Island to find Pokemon.

On the Reddit thread, "Best Pokemon Go spots in Nassau County aside from Eisenhower Park," users have stated that they had the best luck in the Roosevelt-Hempstead area, as well as the Hofstra University south campus in Hempstead and Nassau Community College in Garden City.

On Facebook, the LI Go page has been created to allow users to share any "hot spots" that users may have come across on their travels.
