The Bristal Residents Help Make Return to School Easier for Kids in Need

The Bristal Helping Hands Supported UJA-Federation of New York's "Supplies for Success" Initiative

The Bristal Assisted Living resident volunteer corps in North Woodmere, The Bristal Helping Hands, supported the UJA-Federation of New York’s “Supplies for Success” initiative. The participants included (left to right): Laura Gerber, Estelle Summer, Thelma Berkowitz, Lenore Bevilacque, Lillian David and Fran Greene. The program provides new school supplies for thousands of disadvantaged children in need.The Bristal Helping Hands volunteers shopped for the supplies, assembled them into the new backpacks and delivered them to the UJA Five Towns drop off center for distribution to the children in need.
