Class of 2016 Long Beach College Grads

Many colleges across the country recently held their commencement ceremonies over the last few weeks.

Several local natives were among those to receive their degrees from the various colleges.

Here's a list of some Long Beach students who graduated with the Class of 2016:

• Emily Elizabeth McLoughlin graduated with a degree in special education from James Madison University on May 6.
• Megan Brady received a BA degree in English Literature from Loyola University Maryland on May 21.
• Daniel McCarthy received a BA degree in Communication from Loyola University Maryland on May 21.
• Robert Ryan received a BS degree in Biology/Psychology from Loyola University Maryland on May 21.
• Julia Sculley received a BA degree in French from Loyola University Maryland on May 21.
• Shaun P. Bogart received a Master of Science degree with a major in occupational therapy from The University of Scranton. on May 28.
• Karl Ahr graduated from Bucknell University on May 22.
• Alanna Nawrocki graduated from Bucknell University on May 22.
• Johnny Zator graduated from SUNY Potsdam with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology on May 21.
