College Honors For Students From Long Beach

OLD WESTBURY, NY — A pair of Long Beach residents have been recognized for their educational achievements in the fall semester at New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury.

Maya Kubiak was named to the school's Dean List.

Nadia Freudiger was selected to the Presidential Honor List.

To qualify for the Dean's List, full-time students must earn a GPA of at least 3.5 and complete 12 credit hours without incomplete grades.

To make the Presidential Honor List, students must maintain a minimum semester GPA of 3.7 and have notched at least 12 credit hours without any incomplete grades.

Overall, 1,330 students were named to New York Institute of Technology honor lists in the fall.
