Drunken Driver Critically Hurt Slamming Into Nassau Building: Police

Wilson Williams Argueta Pena is charged with driving while intoxicated, police said.

ISLAND PARK, NY — A Long Beach man was arrested for a drunken crash that took place early Monday in Island Park, police said.

Wilson Williams Argueta Pena, 38, drove his 2010 Ford F-150 into a building just after midnight, police said.

Argueta Pena was unconscious and pinned in the front seat when police arrived.

Emergency services officers were able to extricate him from the vehicle, police said. Argueta Pena was taken to a local hospital where he is listed in critical condition, police said.

An investigation determined that he was intoxicated and was placed under arrest, police said.

No other injuries were reported.

Argueta Pena is charged with driving while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle unlicensed
operator and aggravated unlicensed operator, police said.

He will be arraigned when medically practical.
