Dune Grass Planting This Weekend in Long Beach
East End and West End dune grass plantings are set for Saturday and Sunday mornings.
The Long Beach Comeback Crew is hosting a dune planting to help protect the seaside this weekend.
From 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, the group will meet to replant dune grass critical to the Long Beach environment.
The group will meet Saturday at Virginia Avenue for the West End planting and Sunday at Roosevelt Avenue for the East End.
