Duo Broke Into Nassau Beach Club, Caused $200K In Damage: Police

Nassau County police are asking the public's help finding two men accused of breaking into the Catalina Beach Club in Atlantic Beach.

ATLANTIC BEACH, NY — Nassau County police are seeking the public's help to find two men who police say broke into the Catalina Beach Club in Atlantic Beach and caused hundreds of thousands of dollars of damage.

According to police, the two men, pictured above, broke into the beach club, located at 2045 Ocean Blvd., at 9 p.m. on Thursday, June 11, and Friday, June 12.

Once inside, police say the two damaged the entry doors, 60 cabana doors, 30 locker doors, two glass tables, 50 mirrors, one sink and a cash register. They stole cash and food from the club as well. Police say the damages are estimated to be around $200,000.

The first suspect is a white man with a medium build, brown hair and a scruffy beard. He was wearing a light-colored T-shirt with the letters "A&F" and "NY" on it, light-colored shorts and black Adidas slides flip-flops.

The second suspect is also a white man, with a thin build a straight brown hair. He was wearing a light-colored T-shirt, dark shorts, white socks and black sneakers.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous, and you could receive a cash reward if your information leads to an arrest.
