Early Voting Starts For April Special Election

An Assembly seat is being filled with Melissa Miller stepping down.

LONG BEACH, NY — With the resignation of Melissa Miller from the Assembly, a special election is scheduled for Thurs., April 7.

Early voting is available from Mon., March 28-Tues., April 5.

The three early voting locations are:

  • Long Beach City Hall
  • Lawrence Country Club
  • Nassau County Board of Elections in Mineola

Any eligible voter who lives within the 20th Assembly District may participate in the special election.

March 28: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
March 29: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
March 30: 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
March 31: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
April 1: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
April 2: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
April 3: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
April 4: 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
April 5: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

On the April 7 election day, voters should go to their usual polling place.
