LONG BEACH, NY — Amid Todd Kaminsky's retirement from public office, it's a new era for 9th Senate District.

Patricia Canzoneri-Fitzpatrick has defeated Kenneth Moore, according to unofficial results with all precincts in.

Canzoneri-Fitzpatrick, a longtime Malverne resident and elected official, has 61,670 votes to Moore's 48,212.
