The Long Beach Recreation Department will host the eighth annual City Council Turkey Trot on Nov. 20 on the Boardwalk at Riverside Boulevard. The one-mile race, for elementary through high school aged children, will start at 8:30 a.m. and the 10K will begin at 9 a.m.
There will be awards for the first three male and female finishers in each race. Entrance fee is $5 for the one-mile race, $20 for pre-registering for the 10K and $25 for day of race entry for the 10K. For additional information, please call (516) 431-3890.
