The Long Beach Library will be holding "Dog Tales" on May 23 starting at 6 p.m.
For children in kindergarten through fifth grade, this program enables kids to practice their reading skills in a non-threatening situation. Specially trained dogs will be hand to listen to children read and boost their confidence.
